The 2025 GPSL Over-19 Men’s season came to an exciting close on Sunday, August 10, as four champions were crowned in front of the Pittsburgh skyline at Highmark Stadium — home of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Under flawless summer skies, the fans in attendance were treated to a full day of high-quality soccer, with each final delivering its own drama and defining moments.
Premier Division – Tartan Devils FC
After suffering an uncharacteristic semifinal exit last season, Tartan Devils FC came into the playoffs with one mission: reclaim the title. They did exactly that, ultimately capping off their run with a 4–0 victory over Arsenal FC in the final despite a tight scoreless first half. With sharp passing, relentless pressing, and clinical finishing, TDFC reminded everyone why they’ve been a powerhouse in Pittsburgh amateur soccer for years.

Championship Division – River Rats FC
River Rats FC’s path to the trophy was paved with highlight-reel goals, and the final was no exception. In a composed and confident performance, they found the back of the net three times to secure a 3–0 win over HNK Croatia in a tense and emotionally charged affair. It was a fitting end to a season in which the Rats combined defensive discipline with attacking flair.

Miners Division – Real Iron City
The Miners Division final brought edge-of-your-seat intensity as Real Iron City edged Dukes of Hazard 3–2 in a back-and-forth battle. Both sides traded goals and momentum swings, but Real Iron City’s grit and composure in the closing stages proved the difference, securing them the division crown.

Keystone Ice Division – Giggle Gang FC
The most explosive match of the day came in the Keystone Ice Division final, where Giggle Gang FC outlasted Sallies FC in a seven-goal thriller. In a game full of twists, Giggle Gang emerged 4–3 victors, sealing their title in fittingly dramatic fashion.

GPSL Finals Show Pittsburgh's Growing Soccer Passion
